ALL of our Employees play an important role in our business. They are all caring animal lovers, and very experienced with animals! Kelli McCan, our owner, was the Vice President for Endangered Species Foundation for many years, and now works regularly with the SPCA and Humane Society here in the Tampa Bay area. She has her PhD. in Stringed Instruments from Salzburg, Austria, and plays the harp. She is crazy about her kids, and loves spending time with them and her own pets (along with all of yours.) She worked for a dog training company for years, and she and her husband, John, started this business because of their great love of animals. After 1000 clients, there has never been an animal that wasn't crazy about her. John McCan works well with the animals. All of the animals love him, because they sense his inner kindness. He has his Masters in Psychology from Indiana University,and has worked with troubled youth. He was an officer in The Air Force, and plays the drums! Kelli and John own High Tail It, and cover Pinellas County, Citrus Park, and South Tampa, but also back up all areas for all of the other employees. We try to bring our passion for life to you through our business and this web site. High Tail It is also a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), NAPPS, and The ASPCA. We are licensed and bonded in the state of Florida. We cover Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Osceola, Orange, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. | PRICING: Our pricing depends on how many visits you want us to make to your pet. We suggest at least three per day for a dog, and at least two per day for a cat, but it's completely up to you! We charge $14.00 per visit, for the 1st pet, for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and ferrets, and $20 per visit for horses. If you have more than one pet, we only charge $2 for each additional pet! We stay approx. a full half-hour per pet. We will feed, walk, give medications (if needed) and PLAY and pet them! We will even bring in your newspaper and mail, and water your plants at no extra cost to you! We also do overnight stays (upon availability) for $60 per night for up to 3 pets, and will get to your home at dinnertime, and stay until after breakfast time. What happens next…? Meghan Rinda will be helping to cover the South Pinellas area part time. She was born in Massachusetts, and moved to Florida very young and has lived in all areas of Tampa Bay. She attended SPJC. She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Gus and two Bearded Dragons, She has had horses most of her life, and competed in jumping classes. She still goes to the Horse Shows as often as she can. She worked for a veterinarian in Treasure Island for years, and currently works for a computer software company. |


| Traci Curtin covers from Seminole Heights to Temple Terrace and Tampa Palms-New Tampa. Born and raised in NJ. a single mom of a 12 yr old daughter, and an animal lover. As a young kid, she was the one who would bring home a basket of kittens or a box of puppies, and has had animals all her life. She volunteers with Kids and Canines, an organization through Hillsborough County that trains and places service dogs all over Florida, and has personally trained/raised dogs that have been placed with very deserving people and the experience was both heart breaking and life changing. Having an opportunity to take care of your animals in their own homes is going to be a great experience and you can rest assured they are being taken care of by someone who cares. |
| Gina Hidalgo is bilingual (Spanish) and will be covering Kissimmee to Ocoee. She has a Scottish Terrier, a Puggle and a Map Turtle. Gina has worked with animals at a local pet motel and has been responsible for looking after dogs,cats, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, turtles and sugar gliders. She has been in the Orlando/ Kissimmee area for over a decade and knows her area very well. She also volunteers for the City of Kissimmee as a canine foster. Nothing makes her happier than being able to say she took part in finding a dog a happy home. Gina is super excited to be on our team and is looking forward to providing exceptional and loving care to every pet. |

| Jessica Weigand will be covering the Brandon/Riverview areas. Jessica was raised on Daytona Beach, and moved to the Brandon area in 2003. Jess is currently studying Veterinary Technology with hopes to become a Vet when she finishes school. She has had many family pets growing up including a Golden Retriever, and Italian Greyhound, and presently has a Chihuahua named Punx. When not in school, Jess spends her time reading, and spending time with friends and family. |

| Anna Vallery will be helping in South Tampa and Davis Island-Channelside. She has been an animal-lover her whole life. She is currently a junior at the University of Tampa studying Psychology and Biology for Animal Behavior. Anna has had an array of pets, from dogs and cats, to a duck and a tortoise. Anna has also volunteered in Costa Rica with a Wild Animal Rehabilitation center and was the Animal Care Intern at the Lowry Park Zoo this past summer. Because she lives on campus, Anna can only have fish, but she always looks forward to going home to her Yorkie Harry and her cat Topo. Anna loves being around animals and is looking forward to working and spending time with each pet! |

| Aleksander Simon will also be helping in the South Tampa-Channelside areas, and is a junior at the University of Tampa with a major in Marine Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Aleks grew up with pets and his family currently has three dogs at his home in Ohio. Aleks is an aquarium enthusiast and has an array of fish including a Tiger Oscar than is nearly a foot long and two turtles. On a trip to Costa Rica working at an Animal Rehabilitation center, Aleks worked with animals ranging from Capuchin Monkeys to orphaned baby squirrels. Aleks adores animals of all sorts and is looking forward to working with all the different clients. |
