Your Dr. Moose Patio Bar is hand built using quality construction materials to provide you with many years of enjoyment. Each patio bar is set on a solid 2x wood base and all joints are glued and nailed and/or screwed together. The “body” of the bar is also constructed of 2x material and is glued, nailed and screwed to the base using 3 ½” screws providing excellent durability. The top of the bar is set on solid ¾” plywood or dimensional lumber (as specified at the time of the order) and is sealed to help prevent damage from moisture due to spills, plants, decorations, etc. Since your Dr. Moose Patio Bar is handmade it can easily be built to suit your preferred decorum, i.e. Favorite sport, team, activity, hobby or a family motif using photos, placards or special memorabilia you provide. This model sounds small but when you sit at this bar it is very accommodating for 4 adults and will fit comfortably in the smaller lanai areas found in town homes condos and apartments. The Weekend Warrior – 6’ long, 2’ deep with 2 long shelves for storage. This model is truly one of the most popular bars we build. It has plenty of room for relaxation and can accommodate up to 6 adults comfortably with room to spare. We’ve seen things done with this bar that defy the imagination! The Bartender’s Friend – L-shaped bar, 6’ long, 2’ deep with a 4’ wing. Multiple shelves for storage and/or sound system (you provide). The model is called the Bartender’s Friend because the L-shape provides the bartender with more serving options for ice buckets, lights, and more storage for beverages and bar supplies. This model is a custom order only model and we suggest you provide measurements of your patio area for best fit options! The Party Commando – U-shaped bar, 8’ x 6’ x 8’, 2’ deep. This is truly a masterpiece patio bar that requires the space for a full scale party! These bars are custom order only and will accommodate up to 14 adults with more than ample storage and features similar to those neat “tiki” bars you’ve seen at the beach. We recommend a full review of your measurements and our design features prior to building this one to ensure you get the bar you’ve always wanted. |
