ALL of our Employees play an important role in our business. They are all caring animal lovers, and very experienced with animals! Kelli McCan, our owner, was the Vice President for Endangered Species Foundation for many years, and now works regularly with the SPCA and Humane Society here in the Tampa Bay area. She has her PhD. in Stringed Instruments from Salzburg, Austria, and plays the harp. She is crazy about her kids, and loves spending time with them and her own pets (along with all of yours.) She worked for a dog training company for years, and she and her husband, John, started this business because of their great love of animals. After 1000 clients, there has never been an animal that wasn't crazy about her. John McCan works well with the animals. All of the animals love him, because they sense his inner kindness. He has his Masters in Psychology from Indiana University,and has worked with troubled youth. He was an officer in The Air Force, and plays the drums! Kelli and John own High Tail It, and cover Pinellas County, Citrus Park, and South Tampa, but also back up all areas for all of the other employees. We try to bring our passion for life to you through our business and this web site. High Tail It is also a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), NAPPS, and The ASPCA. We are licensed and bonded in the state of Florida. We cover Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Osceola, and Orange counties. | PRICING: Our pricing depends on how many visits you want us to make to your pet. We suggest at least three per day for a dog, and at least two per day for a cat. We charge $14.00 per visit, for the 1st pet, for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and ferrets, and $20 per visit for horses. We stay approx. a full half-hour per pet. We will feed, walk, give medications (if needed) and PLAY and pet them! If you have more than one pet, we only charge HALF for each additional pet! We will even bring in your newspaper and mail, and water your plants at no extra cost to you! We also do overnight stays (upon availability) for $60 per night for up to 3 pets, and will get to your home at dinnertime, and stay until after breakfast time. What happens next…? Allison Robertson covers the Carrollwood-Westchase areas part time. She grew up in Ohio. After graduating from Kent State University in 1997, she had a career in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry for close to a decade, and is state certified in Cosmotolgy. Animals sense her good nature and soft spoken voice, and are drawn to her. Her two best friends are Lucy her Golden Retriever and Wiley her large Tabby Cat. She volunteers to help feed the homeless and as a volunteer for the Humane Society, SPCA and St. Francis Society Animal Rescue. Allison has cared for many animals through out her life and can not wait to get to know her new four-legged friends! |

Jorie Parsons covers the New Tampa and Tampa Palms areas down to Seminole Heights. She grew up outside of Chicago and is also a trained massage therapist, and still does house calls. She has been in the Tampa Bay area for 15 years. She is an animal activist, and has had every kind of animal known to man.... From rabbits to pot bellied pigs. She currently has three cats (that were strayed, and adopted). She is a true animal lover, and will care for your pets as much as she loves her own! |

Michelle Russell covers the Brandon/Riverview areas. She was born and raised in Brandon, and has 3 kids. She has worked in veterinary medicine for 21 years. She has experience with many animals including horses and exotics. She has a Golden Retriever named Sampson, and three cats named Freddy, Phoebe, & Kahlua, and a Paint horse named Finley. She is very involved in Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd rescues, especially ones that include special needs dogs and those that require behavior modification. She was involved in the Therapy Dog program. |
| Nikki DiGiovanni covers Pasco from Lutz to Wesley Chapel, and does overnights. She is originally from Dallas, Texas. She moved to Chicago after high school and worked for dog groomers before entering a career in banking. She moved to Tampa in 1998. She's owned cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, reptiles and even a tarantula. Her sister owns a pet sitting business in Texas. She currently has 2 beautiful Golden Retrievers, Daisy & Miles, a cat, Bianca and a bird, Pinch. Nikki was a client for two years, before she became an employee, and now has been with us for years! She's also the Bank Manager at Home Bank in Westchase , and has the singing voice of an angel. |

Meghan Rinda will be helping to cover the South Pinellas area part time. She was born in Massachusetts, and moved to Florida very young and has lived in all areas of Tampa Bay. She attended SPJC. She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Gus and two Bearded Dragons, She has had horses most of her life, and competed in jumping classes. She still goes to the Horse Shows as often as she can. She worked for a veterinarian in Treasure Island for years, and currently works for a computer software company. |


| LeAnn Roetz will be helping to cover the Valrico, Brandon and Riverview areas part time. She grew up in South Africa and moved to the U.S. for college. She just got married in 2007 and loves it! LeAnn and her husband don't have any pets of their own at the moment, but she grew up with all sorts of different animals. She absolutely adores animals and can't wait to lovingly dote over yours! LeAnn also works for a cosmetic company out of her home. |
| Amy Dascola is a animal lover by nature. She was a client for 4 years before she was an employee, and will be helping with the South Tampa areas. Her affinity for children is fulfilled through her profession as a second grade teacher, and had animal companions all her life. She moved here from Minnesota in 2005. She has an 18-year-old Diabetic Maine Coon, named Marcelle who is a handsome last hope rescue she's had for ten years. One of her favorite activities is to go to the dog park and the dog beach with friends and enjoy dogs at play. She's greatly looking forward to providing your pet with excellent care and affection |

| Sarah Fox lives in Kissimmee and works in Orlando. She will be covering Kissimmee, Celebration, Lake Buena Vista, and up to Downtown Orlando. She has three dogs, and has cared for hampsters/gerbils, horses, fish, lizards and a quaker parrot, as well as our client's dogs and cats. She is quite comfortable handling pets of all shapes and sizes and looks forward to taking care of yours! |



| Nichole Buffa will be covering Orlando proper, down toward Disney. She currently works at Disney's Animal Kingdom with Nile hippos, black rhinos, crocodiles, variety of hoof stock, birds and fish. She lives in the Orlando area with her husband, and has 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Niki was born and raised on a dairy farm in Upstate New York near Syracuse. She received her BA in Public Justice from SUNY Oswego . She moved to Newport News VA after college and worked with emotionally disturbed children. When she missed working with animals, she went back to school in Gainesville Fl at Santa Fe Teaching Zoo and received her AS degree in Zoo Animal Technology. She has worked at the Palm Beach Zoo with carnivores and primates. Although she has worked with many exotic animals, she still loves to take care of your dogs and cats, and can’t imagine a day without animals in it… |
Angela Pietrantonio will be covering Orlando areas from Winter Park to Downtown areas Angie grew up between Florida and Minnesota. She married a Navy Veteran in 2007. She has worked in vet clinics, doggie daycare, exotic vet clinics, and even San Diego’s Wild Animal Park at Lorikeet Landing. She’s a volunteer for The Humane Society, and Mote Marine Laboratory’s Dolphin and Whale hospital. She is also a Canine Good Citizenship evaluator, and almost finished with Animal Behavior College to become a certified dog trainer. She competes with her Border collie, Allie, in the AKC sport of dog agility, and also has a grey tabby named Abby. She’s owned MANY animals ranging from all types of reptiles, horses, cats, dogs, all kinds of rodents and birds. She believes there’s nothing better than that bond created between human and animal. Everyone has at least one passion in life. She looks forward to spending her passion and love of animals with your pet(s)! |

| Megan Wise will be helping to cover Northdale/Lutz areas part time. She was born in Ohio and has been in Tampa Bay for 9 years now. She graduated from Sickles High and now attending the University of South Florida pursuing a degree in nursing. She's owned cats, dogs, small animals, birds, fish, and reptiles. She currently has an Australian Shepherd named Abby, a Dachshund named Lucy (she rescued from animal services), and a cat named Lyra. She has always been an avid animal lover and has worked in the pet industry for over a year, and also works part time for a pediatrician. |


| Becky Abreau currently lives in the Sea World area of Orlando, but will be moving to Downtown Orlando at the end of October, possibly sooner. She will be covering Orlando, and Sea World areas. She works at Disney's Animal Kingdom with Nile hippos, black rhinos, various hoofstock, Nile crocs, storks, pelicans, various waterfowl, and fish, and also worked there with parrots, hawks, owls, snakes, lizards, frogs, turtles, tortoises, spiders, tarantulas, scorpions, cockroaches, millipedes, centipedes and other small animals. She used to be the assistant manager at Pet Supermarket for years before Animal Kingdom. She has her A.A. degree in Sociology from Santa Fe College in Gainesville,Fl, and A.S. degree in Zoo Animal Technology from Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fl, She has a cat (Norman), a mixed conure parrot (Fez) and a fresh water eel. She has volunteered at many wildlife rehab facilities. She says she's constantly amazed and in awe by animals actions, reactions and instincts, and tries to see things from their eyes. Animals of all sizes and shapes are special and unique and her love of animals has made her who she is today.She looks forward to helping other animal lovers. |
